Just a couple of quick little announcements today! Many of you who saw Lynette Johnson speak to our group last year know the amazing work of her Soulumination Foundation. Soulumination celebrates the lives of children and parents facing life-threatening conditions by capturing moments of love through photography. They are raising money for the foundation through their Artists’ Holiday Sale this weekend, Saturday December 4th 10am-7pm and Sunday December 5th, noon-5pm. [5201 11th Ave NW, 98107] Check out the featured artists and some pictures of the cool items (baby hats, scarves, mittens, purses, handmade paper goods, wreaths, cookies…) they are selling by clicking here! I will be hitting the sale on Sunday afternoon, hope to see some of you there, it is a great way to add another layer of giving to your holiday gifts!
I’m pulling together my almost illegible blizzard of notes from Jennifer’s presentation on Monday- it was a full house, people were really engaged, and we were FLYING through slide after slide of her tips on “seeing the light” when photographing your children (my hand actually ached from all the notes)! I am so proud of how we’ve ended the year and where we’ve progressed as a group!! I will post notes up soon. In the meantime, I got an email from Jennifer asking if folks would be willing to fill out a survey about the content of her presentation, since she is working on a book based on that content and would love to get our feedback. Here is the link. The password=mamas. If you were at Monday’s meeting please take a minute to fill out the survey, it is a great way to show our appreciation for the time and effort she spent with us!
Thanks everyone, and hope to run into you this weekend!
